We specialise in recycling used bikes for everyday use. We go to great lengths to make sure the bike is right for you – right size for your build, right bike for your purpose and right bike for your price.
You might be able to find a cheap bike for sale in a supermarket but we tend to refer to these as bicycle shaped objects – they can be hard to set up properly and the cheap frames and components tend not to last long – and, as we know from experience, can seldom be repaired satisfactorily.
When we do a bike, our priorities are safety, reliability and durability. We start with a good frame the right size for the rider, and build the bike up to work. Most of our bikes don’t come back with problems, they work and keep working. Stock changes frequently so if we don’t have the right used bike for you this week, we might have next week.
Donations of old bikes welcomed.
Your gift will cover the cost of most of the used bikes we recycle in your direction – if we can find a cheap one for you, we’ll add on some lights, bike racks, padlocks etc to make up the value.
