A hands-on sushi-making experience, ideal for those who are certainly not looking for any fishy business. During this 3 hour workshop the team will learn to make 2 different types of sushi. This incentive reward allows participants to use their creativity to make and taste different combinations of fish and vegetable sushi for varied palates.
We start with an introduction to sushi, the ingredients and a demonstration of Nigiri sushi (gripped sushi). Then the team get hands-on and begin to make and taste their own sushi creations. Participants will use 3 or 4 different types of fish to make this type of sushi. Now for the tricky stuff – The team watch another demonstration of Maki rolls (rolled sushi) which usually includes different types of fish and vegetables. They then make their own using the bamboo mats and their favourite fillings.
Each participant will be able to take home all the sushi they have made – that’s about 30 pieces so plenty to share with their family and friends.
Alternatively, the workshop can be followed by a meal where the team can sample their colleagues’ sushi as well as their own.
