This workshop will allow your team to look and think about things in a more calm and objective way. It can transform everyday objects and events into significant or profound ideas – like taking a picture without a camera.
This will not only foster creativity and perception but encourage participants to think concisely and precisely.
This workshop begins with a small introduction to Haiku and its rise in popularity on the internet. The participants will hear a selection of ancient and modern haiku while asking for the final line before finishing the poem which allows the team to get their creative juices flowing. Each team member will use seasonal words and create descriptions then time is taken for participants to make their own observations and write a few of their very own haikus. Some Haiku will be read out anonymously at the end of the session.
