Living willow arch

Living willow can be used to make a variety of structures that are dynamic, changing with the seasons and years. The success of a living willow sculpture depends on a combination of good design, site preparation, careful planting and correct maintenance of willow structures. Living willow fences are sometimes called fedges as they provided the security of a fence combined with the green of a hedge. Fedges are economical and make an attractive decorative screen that is a change to standard fencing. Other living willow structures can make fantasy play dens to stimulate children’s imaginations (batteries not included) or a leafy shady arbour where you can relax and watch nature going about her business.
